Rodent Club Rattonia celebrates her 5 year anniversary with the Joh Qualm Bokaal on August 27 2016!
 
 Joh Qualm is our club’s patron. We hope he will be able to attend our show.

• A great show with rodents, rabbits and chickens,
• Lots of stands with goods, both animal-related and non-animal-related, and between 13.00 and 15.00 we will have special surprises for al lattending children,
• A bird of prey show at 11.00 and 15.00.

 
The event will take place at Hotel Den Helder, Marsdiepstraat 2, 1784AP  Den Helder, The Netherlands.  
 
For guests who would like to stay the night the hotel has offered rooms for the special price of 39,50 euro pp incl. breakfast.
 
It will be an amazing day for all our members, friends, enthousiasts, interested visitors, show participants and judges.
 
 
The following animals can be entered for the show:
Fancy Rats, Dwarfhamsters, Syrian hamsters, Mice, Gerbils, Rabbits, Guinea Pigs, Chinchillas and Chickens.

Hairless and Tailless varieties are excluded.
No “breeders card” needed.

The judges will be announced publicly after closure of the entry-period
 
Caging starts at 8.30. Participants must go to the show secretary table first, after that go through the vet check, and finally to the caging-supervisor.
 
09:30 – 10:00 Start show
12:30 – 13:30 lunch break (bring your own lunch or buy lunch at the hotel      restaurant )
16:00 – 17:00 Award ceremony.
 
ALL ANIMALS will be checked by a vet at the show before caging. The vet’s judgement is final and can NOT be disputed.
 
There will be a table with fruit and vegetables for the animals. This is a free service for all participants.
 
Participants must supply their own water bottles and dishes.
The rodent club will provide feed and bedding.
 
Small rodents need to be housed in show tanks (geo fauna boxes).
The rodent club has a small supply of boxes for rent, please reserve in advance!
 
The guinea pig cages will be fitted with partitions. For rabbits these need to be requested beforehand.
For other requests, please let us know in advance, so we can try to find the best solution for you.
 
Judging will be done by RCR standards, by both national and international judges. There are some places available for judges in training.

We hope to hold the award ceremony around 17.00. depending on the number of animals entered this time can be earlier or later.
After the show we can always use some hands cleaning up!
 
To end this day with a bang, we’ve organized a buffet at the hotel for the low fee of only 12,50 per person. If you would join in the buffet, please reserve and pay in advance, so the hotel can prepare!
